Software Developer III (Java Developer)

· 7+ years or more Experience 

· Resolves Complex problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. 

· Acts as team lead on projects. 

· Participates in development of software user manuals. 

· Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.

· Demonstrated understanding of system development life cycle; software project 

· management approaches; and requirements, design, and test techniques. 

· Experienced in DevOps best practices. 

· Familiarity container platforms for custom built application (Docker, OpenShift, etc.). 

· Modern front-end web programming techniques (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, ES6, Event-driven APIs (e.g., event mesh) and libraries (e.g., Vue). 

· Proficient in Alfresco API

· Strong knowledge of Java coding standard and best practices, design patterns, and code optimization techniques 

· Experience with Java IDEs (e.g., 

· Eclipse, JetBrains, IntelliJ, NetBeans). 

· Experience creating external modules and packages. 

· Experience with at least one of the common Java build tools (Ant, Maven, Gradle – familiarity with all of these is a plus). 

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write technical documentation.
