Senior Investment Manager - Infrastructure

The candidate will join a global team composed of more than 60 investment professionals across 8 offices (Paris, Milan, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, New York, Santiago and Luxembourg). The Senior Investment Manager will report to the Head of Infrastructure and local Co-Heads.

This position is located in New York where Ardian has an established office with over 120 full time employees, of which 12 are infrastructure team members.

Key responsibilities include:

Deal Making & Execution

• Coordinate deal execution process from due diligence to closing (including due diligence, structuring, financing and valuation).

• Support the managing director in legal documentation negotiation (ex: SHA and SPA negotiation)

• Present investment opportunities during investment committees in collaboration with the Managing Director

Portfolio Management

• Be the interlocutor to portfolio companies’ CEO/CFO together with the Managing Director

• Drive value creation in portfolio companies/assets

• Evaluate internal data, identify/highlight critical discussion topics and follow up.

• Could be appointed as board members in portfolio companies

Other

• Fundraising and further broaden network with institutional investors;

• Manage, develop and mentor junior team members;

• Work closely together with other internal stakeholders within the Ardian Group.

The ideal candidate is an investment professional with 6+ years of investment banking (IB) or private equity (PE) experience. The candidate will also have significant M&A experience in the Infrastructure sector.
