As a Senior Internal Audit Advisor at Fiserv, you will offer internal consulting on strategic initiatives, projects, and processes. You will assess gaps, gather observations, and deliver guidance and recommendations to our business partners. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that Fiserv maintains excellence in its financial services and compliance with regulatory standards.
What you will do:
- Assess projects, processes, products, and systems, identifying recommendations and providing guidance to client areas throughout the course of the advisory work.
- Execute the audit plan including planning, scheduling, report issuance, issue tracking, and data maintenance.
- Track and report metrics, KRIs, and KPIs around risk assessment, audit plan creation/management, resource scheduling/utilization, and issue status/resolution.
- Manage day-to-day audit tools and technology, implementing new tools, troubleshooting, leading application upgrades, and seeking continuous improvement of audit tools.
- Assist with quality assurance reviews, identifying themes and trends for enhanced training opportunities, and ensuring standardization of audit practices.
- Manage issue remediation and testing, including tracking and testing of audit issues, and updating and enforcing policies and procedures to align with IIA Standards.
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in advisory or consulting engagements in a financial institution.
- 4+ years of experience in testing, including control monitoring, evaluations, and measurement of effectiveness in accordance by corporate governance, consumer protection, risk, and ethics guidelines.
- 4+ years of experience in the application and knowledge of the Institute of Internal Auditors International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
- Active Audit-related certification required such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CRMA.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or military experience.

- Proficiency in audit tools and software (e.g., OpenPages, Teammate, Archer).
