This internship is based out of San Carlos, CA - the expectation is for our intern to report to our San Carlos office 2-3 times per week. Please note the BeOne is NOT able to provide any relocation or transportation assistance.

Internship program dates: June 8 - August 21, 2026

Education Required: Currently pursuing a bachelors or an advanced degree, preferred in life sciences, economics, data science, statistics, or business. Strong analytical skills and confidence in presenting findings and recommendations to Sr. Management.

General Description:

The Digital Analytics Intern will support the analysis and integration of digital campaign data (e.g., website engagement, media performance) with enterprise commercial data assets. This role sits at the intersection of marketing analytics and data engineering, helping translate digital activity into actionable insights for brand, omnichannel, and commercial teams.

The intern will work with datasets such as campaign performance metrics, website engagement data, and customer-level attributes (e.g., HCP segmentation, targeting tiers, site of care). They will contribute to building analytical datasets, supporting reporting, and enabling measurement of digital effectiveness across the customer journey.

This role is ideal for a candidate with strong technical skills (SQL, Python) who is interested in applying those skills in a healthcare/pharmaceutical commercial context.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Extract, clean, and transform digital campaign and website analytics data using SQL and Python
  • Integrate digital data with internal commercial datasets (e.g., HCP master, segmentation, targeting tiers, site of care)
  • Support the development of datasets used for campaign performance measurement and omnichannel analytics
  • Assist in analyzing digital engagement trends across HCP segments and customer attributes
  • Contribute to recurring and ad hoc reporting for marketing and analytics stakeholders
  • Validate data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies across multiple data sources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, data engineering, commercial analytics) to support measurement use cases
  • Document data sources, transformations, and business logic to ensure transparency and reproducibility

  • No

Computer Skills:   

  • Proficiency in SQL (required) for data extraction, transformation, and joining across large datasets
  • Working knowledge of Python (e.g., pandas, numpy) for data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Dataiku, Tableau, Power BI) preferred
  • Familiarity with structured datasets and relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
  • Basic understanding of data workflows, version control, and reproducible analysis practices

Other Qualifications:    

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Interest in digital marketing, analytics, or pharmaceutical commercial operations
  • Ability to translate data into insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Understanding of healthcare/pharma data (e.g., HCP-level data, compliance considerations) is a plus but not required
  • Curiosity to learn how digital engagement (web, media) connects to broader business outcomes

Pay Rates:

Bachelors: $27/hour USD

Masters: $30/hour USD
