Job information

 

Responsible for overall leadership of a group engaged in the generation and maintenance of all software associated with the support, manufacture and operation of the fuel cell powerplants. Includes but is not limited to power plant controls, Human Machine Interface software (HMI), test stand software and Remote Monitoring System software (MRS). May lead or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaboration with equipment designers and hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems software. Has responsibility for entire systems, projects and programs, and is accountable for budget, staffing, and operational results.

Role & Responsibility

 

• Requires deep and broad technical understanding of software as a discipline, and software support and development requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong business acumen to assure alignment of software delivery pursuit and achievement is supportive of business objectives.
• Manages/applies root cause techniques to assure optimal problem resolution.
• Takes reasonable risks based on rational analysis.
• Sets challenging, achievable goals for self and group.

Education

 

• BA/BS degree with 10+ years of experience.
• MA/MS degree with 7+ years of experience.
• PhD degree with 4+ years of experience.
