Our completions team focuses on the materials for the interior of our aircraft, such as electronics and soft goods, for example. On average the Buyer will work with about 10 suppliers. As a new hire, the buyer will start purchasing basic custom off-the-shelf parts and then move into more specialized areas. Buyers work in pod structure for mentorship and training. </span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri"><span style="color:#32363a">&nbsp;</span></span></span></p>

About the Role

The Procurement Project Manager will serve as a lead  for the purchasing materials for our completions team. Our completions team focuses on the materials for the interior of our aircraft, such as electronics and soft goods, for example.

 

 

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Master's Degree preferred. 6 years of purchasing or related technical experience.

Position Purpose:

Responsible for developing, planning and leading projects for current and/or new aircraft models including negotiations for contract awards and resolution of ongoing high dollar commercial issues. Additionally administers multiple subcontracts for strategic source components such as Joint Development Program agreements, agreements with suppliers who provide products for multiple Gulfstream aircraft models and/or those agreements which represent the highest dollar annual commitment contracts for Gulfstream.
