Job Description

Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in 3 month paid intern opportunities at our site in Orlando. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

• Assist in performing DOE (Design of Experiments), design, build and operate test fixtures, take data measurements.
• Correlate theoretical and simulation predictions with empirical measurements
• Ability to communicate effectively through written reports and oral presentations.
• Automate Testing, Interpret design schematics and layouts

You're the right fit if:

• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Design and research interest and experience
• Basic proficiency with of engineering SW tools (Matlab, LabView preferred),  writing C and Python script
• Must have completed basic circuit design, signal processing and communication courses
• Familiarity with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscope, signal generators and network analyzers
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 to $28.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Orlando, FL
