Position Summary: The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for all aspects of the Food and Beverage experience at Eldora. This position oversees the department managers and all F&B outlets, creates and implements Eldora's long- and short-term F&B management and growth strategies and is a member of the Resort Management Team. The F&B Director drives revenue generation and expense management, oversees budgeting, forecasting, capital planning; in addition to hiring-retention-development of all employees in the F&B Department.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining all organizational aspects within the F&B Department, including employee safety, management structure, staffing, training, systems, processes and standards.
Oversees department managers in multiple F&B outlets .
Oversees delivery of the F&B experience for resort events & private events.
Develop and implement capital and operating budgets for the F&B department.
Monitor the financial performance of the F&B department , and ensure financial performance meets or exceeds budget to the extent possible, based on resort visitation levels.
Search for and assess opportunities to grow revenue and improve customer service levels.
Ensure that all F&B outlets exhibit excellence in operational and appearance standards, embrace contemporary cuisine culture, and properly reflect the Eldora brand.
Ensure compliance with all Department of Health rules and regulations and maintain proper licenses for such across all F&B outlets of the resort and for all events of the resort.
Sets the example to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.
All employees are expected to support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in our Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for our guests.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.

Specific Job Skills:
High School degree or equivalent
Valid US Driver’s license & the ability to pass MVR & background checks by company standards.
5+ years of experience in food & beverage
Minimum 3 years of experience in food & beverage management
