Experienced Credit Controller - Reinsurance (m/f) Limited position

We are looking for an Experienced Reinsurance Account Manager (m/f) – based in Paris. 

Please note that this is a limited position for 6 months.

 

The Impact You Will Have 
As part of the Reinsurance and Co-insurance team in the Finance department of AGCS France, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of reinsurer accounts in line with receivables reduction targets, as well as continuously improving processes.
As AGCS is an international organisation, part of your work will be in English, both written and spoken.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Draw up and send reinsurance statements for your portfolio, 90% of which is made up of captives, to reinsurers and brokers
• Make various payments to third parties 
• Carry out regular balance reminders
• Check and reconcile reinsurance technical and financial balances
• Call on other AGCS departments (Claims, Operations and Underwriting) to resolve any problems encountered
• Participate in various internal and external meetings (calls for tenders, monitoring payments to captives, etc.)
• Participate in regional or global projects on behalf of the finance team (projects in English)
• Make proposals to simplify and update the processes involved in managing your portfolio and share best practice with the team.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• Higher education qualification (e.g. Bachelor's in Insurance)
• Several years of experience in a similar role
• You’re reliable, organized and have a logical grasp of figures
• You’re results and solutions-oriented
• Digital fluency, proficiency in Pack Office 
• Fluency in French (written and spoken) as well as good level in English (written and spoken)
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers
• Strong ability to take initiatives
• You’re a team player
