Job Summary:
This position is responsible for critical high profile supplier work transfers impacting all Strategic Business Units (SBUs). The Work Transfer Lead will provide single voice coordination of supplier risk mitigation plans across the SBUs and functions. They will manage a cross functional team consisting of individuals from Supply Chain, Quality Engineering, Program, Procurement, and Supplier Quality. In addition they will be the strategic Supplier Quality representative working new source and dual source awards with Commodity and Strategic Sourcing and responsible for oversight, monitoring, and sustainment of the effectiveness of work transfers.
This position is fully remote with flexibility in home location. Domestic travel is required up to 40%.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Provide project management and team leadership in order to successfully execute work transfers
- Analyze requests for supplier work transfers
- Continuously improve work transfer processes and tools
- Frequent communication to internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and management levels
- Understanding and mitigating key risks and timing constraints related to work transfer projects
- Work closely with internal team members to ensure the work transfer requirements are met
- Apply the CORE tools and methodology to increase efficiency
Required Skills:
- Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
- Previous project/ team management leadership experience
- Experience presenting key metrics and milestones to all levels of the organization
- Experience with risk and opportunity management
- Experience with supply chain processes and related systems
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Masters in Engineering / Technical or MBA
- Experience in managing multiple priorities and maintaining deadlines
- Experience with production location moves
- Experience with manufacturing processes and related systems
- Self-starter, ability to work with little direction
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and governance
- Practical experience with commercial and aerospace / defense regulations and standards or a commercial equivalent - i.e., AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000, AS9145
- Experience in aerospace/ defense product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test, and delivery

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 236,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Apply for this role
