Job Summary

Responsible for analyzing and making recommendations for changes to internal processes and/or standards/specifications in order to create more efficient and economical operations for Dominion Energy and Dominion Delivery business areas. Assist on multiple concurrent projects to identify and document the major business processes associated with the business unit, conduct benchmarking and best practice analysis of the business unit's processes against both industry and non-industry processes, identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes within the entire business unit without jeopardizing reliability, availability, or safety, develop business cases to support recommendations, and, monitor the progress associated with the implementation of recommended changes. Apply process modeling tools, process improvement methodology, benchmarking, project management, and change management to projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following.

  • Associate Business Process Analyst- 0-2 years of experience in a directly related field
  • Business Process Analyst - 2-3+ years of relevant experience in a directly related field.  

 
General knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
Strong Panning and Organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple projects simultaneously.
General knowledge of materials and services delivery fulfillment processes.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making, along with knowledge of when to get others involved.
Proficient in application of business process improvement methodology, benchmarking, and change management.
Good verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Effective influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Analytical skills.
Priority management skills.
Project management skills.
Computer proficiency. 
Track costs for projects team/order material 
Ability to apply analytical skills to diverse issues.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Creation/Revision of various types of PO’s for pricing/dates
Monitor open vendor PO’s 
Participation in weekly and monthly inventory meetings to review orders with suppliers and installation vendors. 
Provide Administrative support to the Battery and Monitoring SME’s.
Other duties assigned as needed.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Preferred Discipline(s):  Business
