• Under 1 year: $27.42/hr

• 2–3 years: $29.89/hr

• 4–5 years: $31.12/hr

• 6–7 years: $32.36/hr

• 9–10 years: $33.59/hr

• 16+ years: $36.95/hr
  Differentials: $4.25/hr Nights. $3.00/hr Weekends.
  Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 (Nights only)
  Relocation: Case by case

Overview

We are hiring a Respiratory Therapist in Gainesville, FL. This role provides advanced respiratory care in critical care areas including ICU, CVICU, NICU, and PICU. Therapists here are essential members of the healthcare team, providing safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain respiratory therapies such as oxygen, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management.

• Perform and interpret arterial blood gases.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Educate patients and families about treatments and equipment use.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Florida State Respiratory License.

• NBRC RRT/CRT certification.

• At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (ICU or critical care preferred).

• BLS required; ACLS, NRP, and PALS within 30 days of hire.
