Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our HR Onboarding Team. As an Onboarding Team Member, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of our organization by conducting thorough background checks on potential employees and contractors while also maintaining accurate Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) records. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance will help us maintain legal and ethical standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive background checks on job applicants, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Verify employment history, education credentials, and professional licenses.
  • Review criminal records, credit history, and reference checks as required by company policies and legal regulations.
  • Review and analyze background check results, identifying any discrepancies or red flags.
  • Collaborate with Manager to make informed recommendations based on findings.
  • Maintain accurate records of background check results, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data privacy laws.
  • Aid and provide guidance to applicants in resolving issues related to onboarding tasks.
  • Orientation scheduling for new employees.
  • Conduct timely and accurate verification of Form I-9 for all new hires and reverifications for Foreign Nationals, ensuring completeness and authenticity of documentation.
  • Assist employees in completing Form I-9, including verification of identity and employment authorization documents.
  • Maintain detailed records of Form I-9 documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and training to others as related to I-9 process and related compliance matters. Collaborate with Manager to implement process improvements.
  • Discreetly and confidentially handle sensitive data.



TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
• Customer Service (Intermediate): A continuing focus on the needs and requirements of customers, anticipating their needs, remaining sensitive to customers while performing services for them, responsive to customer needs.
• Data Entry (Intermediate): The ability to transcribe information from the original source into an electronic system according to written and verbal instructions efficiently and accurately.
• Document Auditing (Novice): Auditing is conducting an independent review and examination of records and activities in order to test the adequacy and effectiveness of procedures, policies, standards, rules, capabilities and other aspects to ensure compliance with established policy and operational procedures, and to recommend any necessary changes.
