Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Perfect Health, you will: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, specifically focusing on their functional mobility and overall rehabilitation needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities to alleviate pain and restore function. Monitor patients' progress meticulously, documenting outcomes and treatment responses in our electronic health record system to ensure continuity of care. Regularly reassess and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals. Educate patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on proper use of assistive devices and therapeutic techniques, fostering independence and promoting safety. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and advancements in physical therapy practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient population spans various demographics, including children, adults, and the elderly, all requiring personalized rehabilitation services. Qualifications The ideal candidate for our Physical Therapist position will possess: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. A valid DPT license to practice in the state of Virginia. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic medical record (EMR) management and documentation. Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate patient care challenges.
