About the role

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize sales and profitability of the packaged beverage category.
• Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for product innovation and expansion.
• Negotiate terms and agreements with vendors to secure competitive pricing, promotions, and marketing support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and merchandising initiatives.
• Monitor category performance metrics and financial targets and make data-driven decisions to optimize assortment and pricing strategies.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and competitive landscape to maintain a competitive edge in the market.                                                                                                              • Must meet performance expectations. Must complete all duties as assigned.
• Assignments as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management, preferably within the convenience store or retail industry.
• Proven track record of success in driving sales and margin growth within the packaged beverage category.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
