About the job you’re considering

We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Architect with a strong background in both development and administration of Tableau environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data analysis, dashboard design, and cloud data integration, along with a strategic mindset to drive business intelligence initiatives. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders, data engineers, and business users to deliver actionable insights through advanced visual analytics.

Your role

  • Analyze data using SQL to assess structure, granularity, and quality.
  • Gather and validate business requirements.
  • Define KPIs and analytics strategies.
  • Recommend appropriate Tableau products (Desktop, Server, Online, Mobile, Embedded).
  • Develop high-level project plans.
  • Recommend and implement Tableau Data Management tools (Prep, Catalog, Bridge).
  • Connect Tableau to cloud data sources (Snowflake, Redshift, Google Cloud SQL, Azure SQL).
  • Collaborate with data teams to prepare efficient datasets.
  • Create and manage data extracts and transformations.
  • Choose optimal calculation methods (Tableau vs. Data Warehouse).
  • Develop complex Tableau calculations and LOD expressions.
  • Validate and analyze results for accuracy.
  • Apply performance best practices in dashboard design.
  • Create interactive, user-friendly dashboards aligned with business needs.
  • Support UAT, performance testing, and deployment processes.

Your skills and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Tableau development and administration.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and visualization best practices.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Ability to manage full BI lifecycle from discovery to deployment.
  • Preferred -Tableau certifications.
  • Advanced degree in analytics or related field.
  • Python experience in full-stack data environments.
