About the Role

The Director of Product responsible for defining and launching  on the Papa platform that help improve social determinants of health conditions for families, underserved populations, seniors, and enhance the ability for working individuals to care for their loved ones . You will be an individual contributor on the product team and will bring an ideal combination of strategy and execution chops to this role. Initial focus will be on the commercial and Medicaid market.

In this role, you will partner closely with sales executives, product marketers, researchers, business operations, engineers, designers, fellow product managers, and legal to define and prioritize the growth spaces. You will be expected to generate insights based on a solid data-backed understanding of the end markets and their pain points, leveraging research and data analysis along the way. Besides evaluating trade-offs based on a clear set of input and output metrics for the growth spaces, you will proactively communicate plans to stakeholders and leadership to ensure product solutions are aligned with business goals.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Inform  product vision, strategy and roadmap in the context of Papa’s mission and broader organizational strategies and goals.
  • Gather and incorporate data, research and market and customer analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps.
  • In developing product strategies, understand and reflect unique needs among various end markets such as Medicare/Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and employer populations.
  • Display collaborative and charismatic leadership with a commitment to customer obsession.
  • Synthesize complex research findings to enable decision making.
  • Design and evaluate ideas for new products or expansion into new customer segments.
  • Translate strategy into launch-ready products that work in concert with existing Core offering.
  • Be a utility player, jump in to help in any number of areas of product need.

Requirements

  • Past product management and product development experience in technology enabled service companies.
  • Experience collaborating with sales executives, product marketers, researchers, business operations, engineers, designers, fellow product managers, and legal in defining the product and/or service offering.
  • Business savvy, with ability to derive product strategy from business strategy.
  • Comfortable working with a small team, but able to scale product organizations.
  • Creative and data driven.
  • Non-hierarchical, with a willingness to roll-up your sleeves, multitask and dive into details.
  • A lack of ego, driven by group outcome, not individual outcome.
  • Committed to supporting a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Nice to have: Prior experience in the healthcare industry, consumer technology experience in the intersection of hardware and software, Commercial and Medicaid market.
