That’s why at Hawthorne Cat we are committed to a comprehensive employee benefit program that helps our employees stay healthy, feel secure, and maintain a work/life balance.</p></div><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY: </strong>With minimal supervision the Machinery Service Tech 1 (Rentals) will perform duties as assigned by management in the repair, maintenance and/or rebuilding of equipment in the service shop or field, in a safe, efficient and capable manner in the least amount of labor hours necessary, and without rework.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</u></strong></p> <ol> <li>Analyze and diagnose issues on all Caterpillar and allied equipment.</li> <li>Remove and install parts, disassemble, and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision</li> <li>Perform Caterpillar updates as directed by Caterpillar, Inc.</li> <li>Analyze all Caterpillar and allied product equipment systems and components for proper operation in arrangement application based on theory of design.</li> <li>Effectively communicate with peers and supervisors.</li> <li>Organize jobs in a logical and economical sequence.</li> <li>Utilize Cat Interact/ ServiceLink and other systems (computer programs) as required.</li> <li>Order parts through DBS (Dealer Business System).</li> <li>Enter labor
