<p><b>Who we are:</b> </p><p>  </p><p>Prysmian is a <b>global cabling solutions provider</b> leading the <b>energy transition</b> and <b>digital transformation</b>. </p><p>  </p><p>Prysmian is a public company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, with almost <b>150 years of experience</b>, over <b>33,000 employees</b>, <b>104 plants</b> and <b>27 R&amp;D centers</b> in over <b>50 countries.</b> </p><p>  </p><p>Everyone at Prysmian has the potential to make their mark; because whatever you do, wherever you are based, you will be part of a company that is helping transform the world around us</p><p></p><p><b>Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:</b><br/> </p><p>Inside our HQ Purchasing team, we are looking for a Global Senior Buyer - Raw Materials.</p><p></p><p>In this role, you will:</p><ul><li><p>Negotiate with key suppliers defining the appropriate conditions for maximizing value creation for the Group</p></li><li><p>Lead and support commodity-related initiatives at regional/local level, in cooperation with the relevant internal stakeholders (GCL, Supply Chain, R&amp;D, Sales, Quality, etc.)</p></li></ul><p></p><p>You will also:</p><ul><li><p>Ensure design and execution of the sourcing strategies and sourcing events in cooperation and alignment with, where appointed, Global Commodity Leaders, local purchasing teams and the other key internal stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Negotiate contracts and any other agreements with suppliers that are functional to the sourcing strategy in place</p></li><li><p>Govern the supply base and suppliers’ performance (including service level, quality, risk and compliance monitoring), ensuring the appropriate supplier selection, qualification, development and overall supplier management practices are in place.
