What you'll do
- Provide direct support to Shared Services departments, overseeing critical groups and leading
- the HRBP team to effectively support the business.
- Assume broad responsibility across Shared Services, offering a unique strategic perspective and overseeing the collective Shared Services Operating model and strategies.
- Develop Talent plans and strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Act as the primary representative of HR, offering support and guidance on daily HR needs, including talent acquisition, compensation/benefits, learning and development, leadership coaching, talent processes, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with business leaders in the screening, selection, and onboarding of essential talent.
- Drive the execution of core talent processes in the business (onboarding, succession planning, performance management, merit/bonus, offboarding, etc.).
- Establish and oversee HRBP processes, including HR Compliance and Upwork Contractors.
- Partner and collaborate with other HR team members to implement and reinforce company programs and processes.
- Stay updated on changes in human resource and employment law.
- Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in various ad-hoc HR duties and projects as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- PHR/SPHR certification beneficial.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of related experience.
- Some travel is required.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship building.
- Proven ability to foster a healthy team environment, influencing and rallying team members toward common goals.
- Excellent organization skills, with a proven ability to follow through and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
- Strong desire and capability to foster collaboration across the HR Team and with key business stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive issues.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state labor and employment law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, HRIS and basic data analysis
