Job Description:
Epiq seeks a high-energy Legal Solutions Division CFO with a technology services background reporting to the CFO and dotted line to the Division President with revenues north of $550M+. The Division CFO will work in a fast-paced environment and will lead a global team with ownership of the annual operating plan development, budgets, forecast, monthly accounting close, high value and actionable analysis, payback analysis, manage pricing and commission administration and lead and support digital transformation efforts. The ideal candidate for this role will have 5+ years of recent tech services industry experience in a global organization leading digital transformation.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve and provide counsel to the Division President and the divisions leadership team.
- Act as a strategic partner to the division leadership team by providing financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Lead division efforts to plan and optimize financial performance.
- Ensure receiving accurate and timely information on all aspects of the business.
- Cultivate a “no surprises” relationship to ensure open, candid dialogue.
- Ensure sound financial discipline and proper business prioritization are applied towards the execution of the annual operating plan so growth and financial targets are achieved and in sync.
- Provide leadership for the divisions budgeting and monthly forecasting processes. Ensure sound assumptions, drivers and highlight risk and opportunities.
- Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on financial projections and actual results. Ensure proper analytics are conducted as part of the month end close process in partnership with Accounting.
- Drive digital transformation in conjunction with Division and Corporate objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction for the divisions pricing strategy in partnership with sales to include process improvements and ROI analysis.
- Partner with product development to include ROI analysis and clear understanding of milestones to achieve results.
- Partner or lead annual transformation initiatives or workstreams that drive operational improvements.
- Provide high-value analysis and adaptive insights from sales, operations, and SG&A that provide key performance indicators, trends or drive action to improve operating performance to include headcount expense management and opportunities for improvements.
- Drive monthly quality accounting close and forecasting process in coordination with Corporate Accounting and FP&A.
- Develop, communicate and implement effective financial and operating strategies that support growth objectives.
- Partner with corporate contract to cash and treasury functions to drive collection improvements.
- Manage monthly commissions process and annual framework, structure and improvements to include routine analytics.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 15+ years relevant experience with a private or publicly held finance organization leading division FP&A functions and team with a demonstrated ability to understand profitability drivers, assumptions and forecasting and highly analytical.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct a worldwide cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team to include motivating and developing strong financial teams.
- Sharp, forward-thinking problem solver with high standards of excellence and comfort with driving change.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment and develop a deep understanding of the business.
- Excellent financial and analytical abilities.
