WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Title I Reading Intervention Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing foundational reading skills for K-8 students. You’ll focus on structured literacy support to improve literacy outcomes, dedicating five hours weekly, specifically on Wednesdays, during the 2024-2025 school year. All training will be provided. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing structured literacy-based reading intervention services to K-8 Title I students.
  • Utilizing online tools and structured lesson plans to deliver effective reading support.
  • Committing to 5 hours weekly (Wednesdays) for the school 2024-2025 year to ensure consistent progress.
  • Participating in all provided training to ensure instructional success.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Two (2) or more years of experience working directly with students. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Proficiency with technology and online educational tools.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Experience in small group instruction and intervention.
  • Knowledge of the science of reading and structured literacy approaches.
