JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The EHS Specialist 1 – Security Focus will manage all security aspects at all Viega LLC locations, position will be based in the McPherson site.  This individual will ensure that security measures, CCTV, and audit requirements are being met within each required facility. Manage the third-party security services that support Viega LLC. The individual will also manage emergency risks and overall program management of emergency services at Viega LLC. This will include risk assessments, CAPA to address risks identified, and closure of risk profiles for each of the Viega LLC locations.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

Security Systems

• Ensures that security third party is performing to the work requirements of the security SOP and post orders
• Ensure that security risks are being logged, tracked, and mitigated at all Viega LLC locations
• Follow hierarchy of controls and risk rating to evaluate the security risks and ensure that Corrective / Preventative Actions (CAPA) are developed to mitigate / eliminate those risks
• Understanding of camera / PTX monitoring system and knowledge of how to pull clips / reports for incident investigations
• Support investigations with conducting documentation, interviews, and determination of root cause
• Understanding of Data Bridge and the trucking system to ensure that Third Party group understands operation, and follows site requirements for truck entry
• Verify that truck / delivery SOP to ensure that only allowed delivery drivers / trucks are entering the site at any time and track the trucks/ delivery drivers as required by SOP
• Coordinate with security contractors to ensure Visitor SOP to ensure that no unauthorized access occurs at any of the Viega LLC locations
• Management of all security aspects including but not limited to visitor/contractor/employee badges, camera locations, tour routes for guards, etc

 

Health Systems

• Drives and promotes a zero-incident safety culture and employee engagement throughout the business
• Support the implementation of forward thinking EHS structure and management systems through collaboration with management and employee engagement to facilitate year on year risk and operational improvements, targeted at the reduction of harm to our employees, visitors, customers, and the communities we operate within
• Provide technical guidance to management regarding security related issues
• Implements and recommends control measures for exposure to hazardous materials and conditions
• Surveys, compiles, and analyzes data relating to security and safety related issues

 

Safety Systems

• Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures as assigned and updating EHS policies and SOPs for appropriate EHS and security information
