Processing Lead, Retail

Description

Position: Processing Lead, Manufacturing, 2nd Shift (3:30 PM– 12:00 AM) 

Duties & responsibilities: This position will spend the day processing and packing returns as business dictates, sorting, or any other tasks assigned by the departmental or area manager or supervisor. This position will be answered directly by the Operations Floor Manager. The main purpose of this position is to fill in for the processing supervisor if he or she is absent or unavailable. 

• Ability and Knowledge to complete all of the Processing Supervisors Job Functions, Packing, and Putwall Job Functions 
• Understand all the Processes throughout the Operations department, including but not limited to Receiving, return Storage (FIFO), Sorting, Order Picking (Batch and Non-batch), etc.) 
• Monitoring of Putwall/Consolidation and Wholesaler Productivity
• Verify and investigate all Variation reports to ensure accuracy before Finalization
• Verify that all processors and packers are doing their prospective job tasks accurately 
• Conduct coaching conversations to improve individuals’ performance 
• Motivate team to hit performance metrics 
• Lead training activities of new team members 
• Apply PharmaLink core principles at all times
• Complete compliance with laws and regulations 
• Suggest process improvements to Management 
• Support management in all decisions on the floor

Requirements

• Proven leadership ability and/or prior experience leading a team
• 2-5 years processing experience
• Must be dependable, reliable, detail oriented and able to follow directions
• Training experience with successful results, demonstrated by new hire success
• Ability to lead by example and exceed performance metrics
• Computer literate
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
• Demonstrate ability to function, with a positive attitude, in a high-performance work team environment.
• HS diploma or equivalent
