Ferguson is hiring a Corporate Security Specialist! This position is responsible for supporting Ferguson's global security efforts through the growth and development of our physical security strategy and business continuity areas.
Location:
This is a Hybrid role based out of Ferguson's corporate offices in Newport News, VA, in accordance with the Ferguson Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
Design physical security controls for company locations including new construction, remodels, and upgrade requests.
Manage projects for physical security equipment installations including Vendor liaison for national account vendors
Partner with other HQ departments to facilitate smooth deployments of physical security controls
Subject-matter-expert and problem solver in the space for physical security controls and technology recommendations
Manage projects to integrate and convert acquired companies into the Ferguson corporate physical security control design
Support investigations activities including case entry, interview note taking, and data analysis activities.
Issue critical mass notification alerts to locations regarding risk/ threat events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience (3- 5+ years) managing physical security programs for a corporate security department in a large matrixed-approvals and spend authority organization.
Ability and openness for occasional work schedule outside of normal business hours of 8-5 pm based on business needs.
Prior experience with project management methodologies.
Flexibility to prioritize and triage competing priorities to maintain a balance of good customer service and support critical outcomes.
Proven track record of innovation and implementing new strategies.
Experience with change management a plus.

Pay Range:

$3,600.00 - $5,866.30-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
