Harmonia is seeking a Senior Project Management Support Specialist / Managment Consultant (Data Analytics, AI/ML) to join our cloud data management and analytics program for a large federal customer. This role combines project management support with data consulting responsibilities. The selected candidate will help plan and track high-level work efforts, prepare executive presentations, and coordinate Agile delivery activities. In addition, they will act as a data consultant to initiative teams, supporting their onboarding to the enterprise cloud platform and helping them understand and effectively use available data, analytics, and AI/ML services.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable shifting between project coordination and client-facing data enablement.
Responsibilities
- Support project managers with Agile planning, scheduling, and tracking of enterprise-level work efforts.
- Develop, edit, and format PowerPoint presentations, reports, and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain project documentation, including action items, risks, and dependencies.
- Serve as a data consultant for initiative teams onboarding to the cloud data management and analytics platform.
- Provide guidance on available platform services, including the enterprise data lake, analytics tools, and AI/ML/NLP capabilities.
- Support governance by documenting use cases, ensuring compliance with platform standards, and assisting with data access requests.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers, data architects, and analytics teams to resolve onboarding issues and support customer adoption.
- Contribute to knowledge management by creating reference guides, training materials, and process documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 10+ years of experience in project management support, Agile delivery, or data/analytics
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and services (Azure preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- S. Citizenship (ability to meet federal contract requirements).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with enterprise cloud platforms (Azure data services, Databricks).
- Familiarity with data governance, analytics, or AI/ML use cases in large
- Agile or project management certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP).
- Experience supporting federal government or large enterprise IT
