The College provides strong support for faculty research involving students in numerous ways, including start-up funds, pre-tenure leaves, and internal grants. Numerous grants from NIH, NSF, and HHMI also support faculty-student research collaborations. An example is the College-wide Summer Fellows Program, which provides stipends, supply money, and housing for approximately 70-80 students. Faculty mentors of Summer Fellows also receive stipends.
