About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Community Manager based in the San Diego, CA area to join our Woodlake team.

Your role is to provide exceptional customer service, facilitate tours, construct lease agreements, collect/post rent, manage renewals, attend court proceedings, and build rapport with prospects and residents.

As a work-family member, you will join our fantastic office team and report to the Community Manager.

What You Will Do:

  • Engage and welcome guests upon entering
  • Professionally interact, build, and maintain relationships with prospects and residents
  • Discover the needs of those looking for an apartment/community, overcome objections, and lease apartments
  • Follow up with prospects and residents to complete tasks promptly
  • Devise, obtain, and manage legal lease documents according to policy and procedures
  • Collect and post rent, manage evictions
  • Manage lease renewals
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, Yardi Voyager, and CRM software programs
  • Assist callers with helpful, caring, high-quality customer service.
  • Promote a welcoming work environment for coworkers and guests
  • Be dependable for Tuesday - Saturday working hours

What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 1+ years of Leasing/Assistant Property Manager experience within the multifamily housing industry, plus the following credentials/skills:

  • Proficient Leasing and Assistant Property Manager experience
  • Passion for assisting others
  • Collaborative nature, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Thrive in a fast-paced setting, enthusiasm for taking on new challenges, and desire to grow personally and professionally.
  • Attention to detail, organization skills, and demonstrated strengths in maintaining schedules, managing priorities, and meeting goals.
  • Experience with and demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Office, Yardi, and CRM.
  • Able to juggle multiple projects while meeting goals, producing high-quality work, and projecting a positive attitude.
  • English fluency (Spanish is a plus!)
