Job Description
Job Summary
This position will be the primary Bosch contact for a selected group of customers. The customer planner is responsible to monitor the incoming purchase orders and get them entered into SAP in a timely and accurate manner. The customer planner handles all communication to the customer regarding order status, shipment status and any other customer inquiries. The customer planner is also responsible for accuracy of order/Scheduling Agreements in SAP.
Job Responsibilities
- Represent DC and act as a liaison between FniP plant and Customer
- Review Customer Purchase Orders and enter them in to SAP
- Resolve PO discrepancies with the customer and involve sales team where necessary
- Utilize customer portals for collaboration
- Resolve invoice discrepancies with customer and internal AR/Bosch Rexroth sales team
- Enter sales orders / Scheduling Agreements
- Ensure proper material master set up for all customer materials and customer accounts
- Communicate shipping requirements with Physical Logistics
- Collaborate with Production Planning on priority customer needs
- Coordinate expedite shipments outbound to customers when needed
- Coordinate new product launches with the plant
- Will require the capability to understand, research and update data within several different modules of SAP
- Other projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Qualification (Skills/Experience/Education)
- BS degree in related field preferred, 5+ years of experience in Customer/Demand planning considered.
- Detail oriented, organized with excellent time management and follow up skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with the customer as well as other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff
- Moderate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
- Supply Chain experience preferred
- Experience with SAP (MM, PP, SD modules)
