Talent Acquisition Coordinator (hybrid role)
Overview:

Due to a recent promotion within the department, we are seeking a new Talent Acquisition Coordinator. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator reports to the manager of the Talent Acquisition function within the Human Resources Department and supports the entire Talent Acquisition team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping to bring in and on-board top talent to the company. This position offers a hybrid work schedule that combines working from home (up to 2-days a week) and in-office work at our corporate headquarters in suburban West Trenton, New Jersey.
The hours for the position are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional hours as required. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $48,000 to 57,000 annually (commensurate with relevant experience and credentials).
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team with job postings, scheduling candidate screening and department interviews, sending out correspondence via email, tracking the candidate status, etc.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on the management and completion of the pre-employment process for a high-volume of new hires. This includes follow up with the background check vendor, ensuring completeness of all pre-employment documentation, and submission of all new hire paperwork
- Provide support to the Talent Acquisition team with resume review, candidate screening, university relations, social media posts, job fairs, etc.
- Oversee the temporary staffing including vendor relationships, tracking and managing temporary staffing requests, and ensuring communication to relevant departments about absenteeism (call outs)
- Assist with special projects such as preparation for new hire orientations and on-site events, preparation of materials for off-site recruitment events (job fairs), producing productivity metrics, other Talent Acquisition related reporting as needed, labor market research and more.
- May serve as a back-up for other functions within Talent Acquisition
- Occasional travel to other NJM locations, job fairs and other career-related events
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of customer service or administrative experience required; experience in Human Resources preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite tools (Word, Outlook, and Excel) required
- Prior experience with a major applicant tracking system (ATS) strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, multitasking, and inter-personal skills required
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills are required
- Working knowledge of social media tools for recruitment purposes (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter [X], etc.) and/or recruitment marketing exposure are helpful
