HR Education Consultant (hybrid)

How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

This position allows a hybrid remote work option. Onsite requirements are determined based on training and support needs and may require up to full time onsite presence at times.

 

In this role, you will serve as an internal consultant, supporting leaders and employees who require development in soft skills.  You will also support some training for front-line leaders.  Will consult with Carilion leaders and employees to understand their business needs and provide educational solutions and recommendations.

This role requires strong verbal and written communications skills.  You must also be able to measure training and demonstrate business outcomes.  Must have the ability to teach and facilitate learning.  

What We Require:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience: Five (5) years of HR/related experience with at least three years in specialized area required.  Maintains a broad knowledge of all HR areas and activities, while specializing with advanced knowledge in one or two specific HR functions.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: None required. Relevant HR Certification preferred.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Must possess excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Demonstrated analytical thinking and interpersonal skills. Must work well in a team environment and have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Lawson knowledge preferred. Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to work on multiple tasks/projects while meeting deadlines and being flexible in an environment of changing priorities.
