Senior Project Manager /Contracts Manager

<h2>Overview</h2> <p></p> <p>we are seeking a Senior Project Manager /Contracts Manager to join a Data Centre team in the Netherlands.</p> <p> </p> <p>Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. The role ensures that work is carried out safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager provides leadership to project teams, manages client and stakeholder relationships, and ensures compliance with all contractual, regulatory and company requirements.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>John Sisk &amp; Son have been building excellence as a family-owned international construction company by offering trust, certainty and value to our clients whilst being at the heart of change.  </p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <h1>Key Responsibilities</h1> <ul> <li>Manage a 80m high Tower, RC &amp; Precast, highly serviced (MEP), Budget, safety, Quality, schedule etc. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Preconstruction </strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the proposals team including internal team members and external consultants as necessary</li> <li>Lead the Development the overall project delivery strategy in conjunction with the relevant project stakeholders</li> <li>Develop the Procurement strategy with the Commercial team</li> <li>Prepare a preliminary project Risk Register and mitigate/manage any risks for the duration of the project</li> <li>Develop overall Project Execution plan including all H&amp;S, Design, Procurement, Project Controls, Logistics, Temporary works, Constructability, Quality &amp; Turnover</li> <li>Advise statutory authorities &amp; key stakeholders of site start date</li> <li>Agree employee resource plan with the Regional Director</li> <li>Responsible for setting the design strategy, including BIM, DRM, and scope of novated services (If part of project scope)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Construction &amp; Design</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manages, through others, consultant and subcontractor design as required by the contract including delivery of the BIM strategy</li> <li>Manage S/C including S/C progress meetings and S/C pre-order meetings</li> <li>Manage project resourcing</li> <li>Detailed understanding of the critical path(s) on the project</li> <li>Manage information flow and information required schedules</li> <li>Prepare contract reports, Manage Project Controls in accordance with PEP</li> <li>Review constructability and identify methods of execution with commercial or programme advantage where possible</li> <li>Monitor overall site progress against programme (PEP). Agree programmes with subcontractors and monitor progress with the SM</li> <li>Manage and control the operating budget + weekly/monthly progress reports for both internal and external stakeholders</li> <li>Implement the Quality Cycle through package delivery teams</li> <li>Take the principal responsibility for driving the HSEQS plan on projects, including driving the full Quality Program for the project</li> <li>Present status to Sisk Management at Monthly CVR / CRM Meetings</li> <li>Implement BIM Strategy on the project / Oversee the management of design including Temporary Works as appropriate</li> <li>Obtain a punctual Practical Completion Certificate</li> </ul> <p><strong>Post Construction </strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure aftercare service is in place for the client</li> <li>Ensure any post-handover commissioning adjustments are made</li> <li>Support the commercial team in the preparation of any loss and expense applications and in the provision of information for Final Accounts</li> <li>Complete the project data sheet and gather reference from the client</li> <li>Protect Sisk’s contractual position by ensuring that the Client &amp; design teams are satisfied and that there is a strong relationship with future potential in place</li> <li>Obtain the defects list and remedy any items to obtain the Certificate of Making Good Defects. Timely engagement with client</li> <li>Other </li> <li>Lead the PDP process for all project team members and emphasise the importance of development &amp; continuous improvement/learning</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Experience</h2> <p><strong>Essential</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion</li> <li>Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors</li> <li>Excellent understanding of project delivery processes including scheduling, cost control and quality management</li> <li> Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and best practice</li> <li>Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Desirable</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience delivering projects in sectors such as life sciences, data centres, infrastructure or commercial construction</li> <li>Understanding of digital project delivery tools including BI
