Delivery Driver (26' Box Truck)

Colorado Mechanical Systems, LLC. (CMS) is privately owned and operated in Centennial, Colorado. CMS provides commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and plumbing services across the Colorado Front Range, including Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins.

Colorado Mechanical Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Delivery Driver. We are seeking a reliable individual who is interested in personal and career growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Available to work full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm (plus OT when needed)
• Willing to submit to a DOT physical (includes a UA)
• Experience driving extended periods of time, under a variety of conditions
• Able to hook and unhook various truck-trailer combinations, equipment towing and delivery (mainly mechanical equipment and scissor lifts)
• Able to follow detailed delivery instructions and specific directions for placement of deliverables
• Communicating and working as a team with all field and office personnel
• Adhere and follow closely all Safety Policies and Procedures
• Good understanding of hand and power tools
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Working overtime as required
• Other duties as assigned (Minor facility maintenance)
• Mechanically included (minor mechanical tasks as needed)

Qualifications include:

• Experience around forklifts and scissor lifts a huge plus (we deliver to job sites)
• Mechanically Inclined (battery change outs, able to change out fluids in generators...)
• Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal and written
• Reliable and punctual
• Operate a motor vehicle, box truck, flat-bed etc. (Largest being a 26" box truck)
• Dedicated to motor vehicle and work safety
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to tow machinery, hook and unhook trailers, scissor lifts etc.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work at heights, and in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work in confined spaces as needed

Pay + Benefits:

• $24.00-$28.00/hr. depending on skill and experience.
