Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Production Planner role, you will coordinate with our supply chain, production, operations, engineering, and customer service teams to develop and maintain the master production schedule and ensure alignment with business objectives. You will develop and execute the production plan, determining priorities and implementing strategies to optimize inventory and support plant operations. You will also collaborate closely with the supply chain function, taking into consideration forecasted demand for finished goods and requirements for semi-finished materials to ensure continuity of production and supply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute production schedules aligned with customer demand, capacity, and material availability

• Manage and adjust production plans based on demand changes, material constraints, and operational priorities to ensure on-time production and delivery

• Monitor production performance, open orders, and backlog, ensuring adherence to the production schedule and customer service targets

• Identify and resolve production issues such as material shortages, capacity constraints, and scheduling conflicts, applying root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions

• Analyze capacity utilization and collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance workload and optimize production flow

• Ensure timely release and execution of production orders in SAP, maintaining alignment with the production plan
