We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Data Analyst to join our in-house agency team supporting a portfolio of premium and luxury brands. This position plays a pivotal role in transforming complex marketing data into strategic insights that drive growth, retention, and long-term brand value.

The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of digital marketing performance with the technical skills to work directly in BigQuery, SQL, ETL pipelines and BI visualization tools. You’ll partner with channel leads across email/SMS, paid search, paid social, CRO, and web analytics to enhance measurement frameworks and optimize media effectiveness.

This role requires strong platform knowledge and hands-on experience to develop strategic, creative recommendations. You’ll execute initiatives to achieve brand objectives and confidently pressure-test insights and recommendations across the paid media team and with key stakeholder groups. You’ll collaborate across departments and business units, using a test-and-learn mindset to drive continued growth across the company.

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

  • Analyze and interpret marketing performance across multiple channels, including email, SMS, paid search, paid social, and web analytics, providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders and brand teams.
  • Develop and maintain multiple dashboards and reporting frameworks that monitor KPIs such as acquisition, conversion, retention, and subscription health.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative leads to inform audience segmentation, creative testing, and campaign optimization strategies.
  • Use SQL and BigQuery to extract, clean, and model datasets across various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Build automated reporting workflows using ETL tools (e.g., Funnel.io) to streamline data ingestion and reduce manual processes.
  • Support A/B and multivariate testing, providing statistical insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization.
  • Present findings through clear visualizations and executive-level, actionable, forward-looking summaries that influence marketing and business decisions.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing analytics, performance marketing, or digital strategy within an agency or in-house marketing environment.
  • Solid understanding of marketing KPIs, including CAC, ROAS, LTV, CTR, and CVR.
  • Strong understanding of marketing channels, for example, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads (video and search), Commission Junction Affiliate, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, CRO.
  • Experience with ETL and data integration tools (Funnel.io, Supermetrics, Stitch, N8N, Airbyte, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of GA4, Looker Studio, or similar data visualization platforms. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to synthesize data into meaningful business insights.
  • Interest in or prior exposure to subscription-based and luxury brand marketing environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Klaviyo, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Hands-on proficiency with SQL and Google BigQuery for querying and manipulating large data sets.
  • Experience with social and creative reporting platforms such as Hootsuite or Motion.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, attribution, or predictive analytics.
  • Experience working within subscription or DTC business models.
  • Understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and marketing data architecture.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 and may include a discretionary bonus.  Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
