Assistant VMI Buyer
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for an Assistant VMI Buyer JBS that supports the procurement team with entry of purchase orders into SAP and maintaining costs for all divisions. The position is located at our Mason, Ohio plant.
Responsibilities:
- Input all purchase orders into plant MRP system accurately and on time
- Manage costing in OLP to ensure proper billing to stores
- Run and review key reports, communicate risks related items to customer
- Monitor & track customer store pulls to ensure 100% fill rate
- Will be trained to be a backup and cover buyer responsibilities when off or on vacation
- Responsible for keeping KLN List updated and resolving issues in MRP
- May assume other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have inventory control experience
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good math skills
- Must be well-organized with good attention to detail
- Display strong work ethics and positive attitude
- Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
- Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to apply logic and understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables.
- Must be willing to work weekends.
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

- Base salary range of [$58,015-$70,488];
