We are seeking a visionary Director of Finance, Global Cost to lead our dynamic team. 

What You Will Do
Drive cost accounting excellence, support senior leadership, and shape our financial landscape. Own the cost function for hardware offerings and ensure global compliance. Make a profound impact on our annual operating plan and finance operations standards. Join us and transform the global finance landscape.  Furthermore, as part of your role, you will actively:

• Direct the strategic vision of Global Finance Inventory Operations.
• Collaborate with Corporate Revenue team to establish and maintain scalable cost recognition processes.
• Serve as primary liaison to the Sr. VP of Operations and Business Finance leads for cost accounting and operations.
• Assume responsibility for all Finance Inventory Operations policies and controls, including SOX compliance. 
• Lead Trimble inventory operations policies implementation for acquisitions; manage divestiture-related finance inventory operations and service requirements.
• Drive enhancements in cost and process efficiencies within operations.
• Offer expert guidance and mentorship in technical cost accounting, ensuring consistency across worldwide manufacturing and distribution sites. 
• Provide strategic insight into business and sales model development, optimizing financial outcomes through cost and inventory recognition analysis.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Required qualifications for this role include:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CMA or CPA certification preferred.
• 15+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, reporting, and finance leadership within a large, professionally managed operating company
• Profound understanding of revenue and cost relationships, adept at guiding business partners and collaborating with the Corporate Revenue team to identify direct margin, gross margin, and cost/E&O/PPV issues.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and innovative problem-solving abilities, including adept negotiation and conflict resolution skills within complex organizational structures.
• Proven track record in team building and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams in a global, matrixed environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in influencing and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels of management.
