Job Description 

Position: Technical Trainer 

Location: West – CA, AZ, WA, NV – Remote 

Education: High School / Trade School / College Degree Preferred 

Experience Preferred: 5+ years Specific or Related Industry Experience

Summary: 

Pipeline Renewal Technologies (PRT) is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Technical Trainer to deliver world-class training programs for our trenchless pipeline renewal solutions. The Technical Trainer will be responsible for educating customers, installers, and sales teams on the use, maintenance, and application of PRT’s specialized equipment and systems. This role requires hands-on training delivery, curriculum development, and technical expertise to ensure our customers are equipped to maximize product performance. Travel to client sites across the United States will be a significant component of this role. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Training Delivery: Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions to instruct customers and partners on the operation, installation, and troubleshooting of PRT products. 

• Curriculum Development: Design, update, and refine technical training materials, including manuals, videos, and presentations, tailored to diverse audiences. 

• Product Demonstration: Provide on-site demonstrations showcasing the value and functionality of PRT technologies during customer engagements. 

• Technical Support: Collaborate with the technical support team to address real-time customer issues and integrate feedback into training programs. 

• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all training materials and sessions comply with industry regulations and promote safety best practices. 

• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of training sessions, certifications, and customer feedback.

Qualifications:  

Experience: 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing, pipe rehabilitation, or a related field (e.g., trenchless technologies, construction). 

• Prior experience in technical training, field service, or product support preferred. 

Technical Knowledge: 

• Strong understanding of pipe lining and rehabilitation techniques, including CIPP and slip lining.
