WildCAD Business Analyst

Description

This full-time position serves on SFI’s contract to support the United States Forest Service (FS), Fire and Aviation Management (FAM), Information Management Support Branch (FAM-IM) is to support the development, operations, maintenance, and user training of information systems used by interagency incident management personnel nationwide.

Requirements

• BS/BA. Substitution of experience for education may be made where four (4) years of experience will be equivalent to a four (4) year degree
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Wildland Incident Management
• A minimum of 5 years dispatching experience
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience with wildland fire data integration
• Proficiency with the CAD application, all incident data types, reports, and the integrated systems, including State CADs, IRWIN, IROC, OIS, NIFC Org Spatial Data and FAMAuth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Under the direction and guidance of the government Project Team the CAD SME will provide application support for operations, user support, testing, training, data management and administration for WildCAD-E as needed.
• Provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support including facilitating troubleshooting to include applications, connectivity to other applications and server infrastructure, databases, reports and network activity, and Tier 2 Helpdesk User support, as requested.
• Processes and procedures are documented, maintained, and adhered to via the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Create and maintain knowledge-based documentation in coordination with the Bighorn WildCAD-E helpdesk and government project team.

• In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work in the US

• Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.

• The salary for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 annually
