Title: Laboratory Support Coordinator

Location: Portland, OR- on site

 

 

The Role:

· Assist in the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of data integrity procedures and compliance across a clinical laboratory working with a cross functional group within the organization (Portland, OR; Cambridge, MA; Beijing, China).

· Collaborate with end-users to define data integrity requirements and resolve data integrity issues.

· Qualification of laboratory equipment and associated software.

· Clean and maintain laboratory equipment.

· Identify gaps in compliance across the laboratory in equipment and software qualification.

· Work with multiple departments – Quality assurance, IT, labs

· Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.

· Communication of project progress to key stakeholders and senior management.

· Maintaining and reviewing laboratory equipment records.

· Assist laboratory management with special projects, as needed.

· Act as backup for inventory management procedures

 

To be successful in the role, you will ideally have:

 

· Previous laboratory experience (clinical / pharma / production / college coursework) or similar environment handling data.

· Strong IT skills and knowledge including MS Excel or similar, LIMs, and laboratory equipment interfacing.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

 · Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex data issues

· Attention to detail in performing tasks and maintaining documentation records.

· Standard operating procedure creation including document control system desirable.

· Eagerness to learn new skills and take on tasks in a fast-paced environment, along with a minimum of an Associate's degree.  Bachelors preferred.
