Sr. Application Engineer

The candidate will be a member of the telecom/server product line supporting the standard product development, creating standard product specification, running simulation and silicon validation. The candidate will be involved with customer communication, customer support, resolving customer concern and issue.

Responsibilities:

• Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define and debug analog/mix signal power IC products.
• Develop application reference circuits.
• Write datasheets, application notes, design notes.
• Drive key customers’ engagement & communications and design wins
• Provide support for key customers and field application engineers

Qualifications:

• Experience of defining Power IC required
• Understand different power topologies, its operation and different control topology
• In-depth understanding of Buck topology
• Self-motivated, goal driven and multi-tasking
• With strong execution and time management
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in switch mode power supplies
• Fluent communication skills in English
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Previous experience in a power supply design house or power management IC company preferred
• MSEE or higher degrees with 2+ years of work experience required

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $135,000 - $170,000.
