The Senior Director of Passenger Services is responsible for leading the Passenger Experience and Media Services Teams, ensuring that business critical services are provided on time and to a high quality to SPI’s customers. Build and maintain strong relationships between Product and Program Management and Software Development to ensure customer needs can be executed to a level that exceeds expectations. Set the strategic direction for content, content services and User Experience by interfacing with internal teams and industry stakeholders. Act as the key interface between SPI and key industry stakeholders to drive innovation in content and media services and User Experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of Project and Account Managers, technical content specialists and UI, UX and visual designers
- Create, champion and maintain the vision for content and media services and creative design
- Demonstrate, model and instruct in the development and curation of content and creative vision
- Demonstrate, model and instruct in capabilities as a teacher and mentor
- Demonstrate, model and instruct in the exhibition of technical leadership in the field of content and design. Educate and advise of technical and non-technical staff and Executives
- Oversee the modernization of tools and processes to significantly improve quality, lead-times and customer service
- Drive interdepartmental collaboration to ensure that media, content and creative designs and assets are delivered on-time to ensure overall program on-time delivery
- Manage divisional budgets and profitability
- Identify new opportunities or technologies which help to innovate and evolve the company’s products and services to drive service revenue growth
- Provide Executive level guidance in support of strategic and operational aspects of content and creative direction
- Establish and build partner relationships with content, media and agency providers at the executive level to drive collaborative solutions and new innovative product concepts
- Work directly with Customers where required
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 15+ years of experience working in Media, Content or Marketing
- 12+ years of experience working in a Management role
- 7+ years of experience establishing, maintaining and fully owning department budget
- Strong demonstrated aviation experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders including internal teams, vendors, customers and agencies
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and performance
- Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups of people
The starting pay range for this position is $158,000 to $210,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
