OPPORTUNITY

Leo Burnett is looking for an outstanding Vice President Account Director (VP AD) who'll work in partnership with the Senior Vice President Account Director (SVP AD) to lead the team in driving client relationships and growth. The candidate will develop high-level strategic plans, effectively utilize cross functional teams and influence senior clients through their deep knowledge of web and ability to pinpoint the smartest, most powerful strategies to solve client problems.

·Eloquently articulate our views on brand building and digital business philosophies, keeping clients up to date on industry context

·Actively establish and grow senior-level client relationships based on trust and leverage these relationships in the development of business growth

·Develop cutting-edge, insight-driven integrated marketing programs and brand experiences.

·Work collaboratively and speak the language of any client, partner agency, or internal teammate (across strategy, creative, media, and analytics) to make the complex simple. 

·Demonstrate strong team and corporate citizenship through involvement in company events, learning forums and other activities, serving as a member of the GroupeConnect Senior Leadership Team and Leo Burnett Network. Note: GroupeConnect is comprised of Leo Burnett, Digitas & Starcom.

·Maintain a strong understanding of changes in the client’s industry and how customer needs are adapting and developing relevant case studies on client businesses

·Deliver strategic client presentations and providing recommendations that are concise, insightful and on point

·Connect to broader agency intellectual capital and bringing best practices to client engagements

·Own client financials – including forecasts, budgets and investments – and facilitate all required legal contracts

·Develop team members through training and identify areas for growth – demonstrate openness to hiring non-traditional talent and build a team bench by actively recruiting a best-in-class workforce

·Willingness to travel as needed 

REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President Account Director

DIRECT REPORTS: Team of strong junior talent that will require mentorship

Qualifications

10+ years experience ideally agency side

Demonstrated ability to grow existing client relationships

In-depth communication and written skills

Strong digital, analytical and strategic abilities 

Refined understanding of the integration of marketing, creative, account planning, media, technology and supporting customer analytics

Extensive marketing knowledge across media, including broadcast, print, digital, mobile and social

Experience must include leading corporate social responsibility or Environmental, Social and Governance work in the past. This could be in the form of doing well by big corporations (ideally), government or charitable trusts, pro bono work, etc. 

Candidate must be open to travel as needed
