Senior Contract Specialist, NF-05

RESUMES MUST BE TWO PAGES (OR LESS). QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. Minimum qualifications: 1. Work experience managing the full range of contract management functions which includes but is not limited to duties such as managing complex, multi-million-dollar procurements requiring source selection procedures. 2. Demonstrated extensive knowledge of procurement regulations, contract laws, acquisition planning; Government and commercial procurement practices, contract policies and procedures; and knowledge and skill in negotiation techniques. 3. Proven leadership and customer service abilities, and the ability to meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment 4. Demonstrated ability to obtain Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) II/III in contracting or other applicable professional certification. 5. Excellent organizational skills. 6. Highly skilled in written and verbal communications; especially presentation skills. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, contracting writing system and other related software. Highly qualifications: 1. Documented experience preparing complex request for proposals for supplies and services? That experience should include providing assistance with the preparation/finalization of Acquisition Plans and Performance Work Statements as well as formulating acquisition strategies that meet customer's business objectives while remaining within contracting processes. 2. Multi-Million Dollar Warrant holder. 3. Minimum of 5 years work experience directly relating to contracting for requirements over the simplified acquisition threshold (over $250K) utilizing formal source selection procedures. 4. A bachelor's or a Master's degree and CPCM, DAWIA II/III in contracting or other applicable professional certification.
