Job Summary:

The primary role of the NJ Solutions JHIF Administrator is to maintain the overall responsibilities of Acrisure’s role as the JHIF Fund Administrator and assist the JHIF team.  This includes orchestrating the deployment of JHIF resources to provide comprehensive servicing for all professionals and members within the JHIF while working with appropriate direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the JHIF team in the development of Fund objectives and strategies

  • Develop and maintain courteous and effective working relationships with the internal team, JHIF members, vendors, and other representatives of external organizations

  • Manage the implementation process with both the respective group and their consulting team as new JHIF groups are onboarded

  • Assist with client invoicing and conduct routine billing audits

  • Coordinate client service to meet day-to-day JHIF member needs 

  • Assist with JHIF reporting and regulatory filings

  • Assist with tracking of JHIF payables

  • Coordinate the JHIF annual schedule and monthly meetings for both Professionals and Commissioners

  • Work closely with the JHIF Benefit Administration System and ensure proper client access

  • Speak with employers/employees effectively during open enrollment meetings

  • Familiarization with computer systems of carriers for reference, preferably all or the vast majority of systems

  • Serve as a direct liaison between clients and carriers

  • Perform other responsibilities and assignments to meet business needs

Requirements:

  • Effective analytical, math and problem-solving skills, sound judgment, strong decision-making ability, confidence to make difficult decisions, and excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of Employee Benefits, Medicare requirements a plus

  • Familiar with financial voucher/invoicing process

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to translate big picture ideas into client objectives

  • Ability to speak effectively with and in front of groups

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, depending upon the specific needs of the tasks

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

  • Enjoys a high degree of interaction with team members, and consistently demonstrates high motivation, positive behavior, sense of urgency, and works to achieve goals and objectives

  • Proficient working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint with experience collaborating efficiently in M365 (OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint)

  • Maintain current health insurance license

  • Administration duties such as filing, ordering supplies, keeping calendars, appointment scheduling and various other administration duties as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field strongly preferred
