What we want
The Senior Associate Director of Recruitment oversees various areas of Undergraduate Recruitment, including operations for Brazos Valley/Central Texas/West Texas/El Paso, Out-of-State, National Scholar, and Transfer teams. Leads efforts to enhance on-campus recruitment and enrollment initiatives related to high-academic achieving students while providing leadership and enhancing programming. In addition, this position oversees other vital duties for Undergraduate Recruitment, including department budget reviews, recruitment scholarship allocations, and liaison with various key stakeholders on and off campus.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nine years of experience in managerial and or administrative responsibility for admissions and recruitment related functions, including a minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree
Experience in higher education and knowledge of policies and procedures governing admissions and recruitment.
Supervisory and management experience with outreach, recruiting and management of employees at a distance.
Experience developing and delivering staff training, coaching, and mentoring.
Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures and using a proactive team approach to continuous improvement.
Experience developing and implementing methods and practices that ensure a multicultural environment and student body.
Class “C” vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Working knowledge of standard office equipment and computers.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with individuals and in a group setting.
Ability to work well with students and parents.
Ability to work well with a student population.
Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Knowledge of financial aid programs and federal regulations relating to student financial aid.
Ability to work as a team member in a dynamic organization, possessing a positive attitude and is customer- service oriented.
Literate in the English language and able to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment with good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to organize and make decisions.
Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to coordinate and attend meetings and conferences at times beyond usual working hours.
Ability to speak Spanish and English.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Must have knowledge of automated systems and data processing.
Knowledge of current federal and state regulations on student recruitment.
Ability to meet deadlines, motivate fellow employees and maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service orientation.
