Job Description Summary

The Manager, Endpoint Delivery and Security, leads the development, optimization, and support of Endpoint Delivery and Security, ensuring effective integration with workflows to enhance system technology. This role oversees team resource management, ensuring optimal alignment and reallocation as needed, while focusing on skill development to maintain a high-performing team that meets evolving organizational needs. They foster strong stakeholder relationships, driving collaboration, strategic initiatives, and leading project scoping efforts to deliver solutions that improve workflows and meet operational objectives. Additionally, this role is responsible for tracking team time management and ensuring adherence to key performance metrics, driving accountability and continuous improvement.


The Manager, Endpoint Delivery and Security, reports to the Director, Identity and Endpoint Delivery and Security, the leader who provides leadership over all identity and endpoint delivery and security services supporting MUSC's academic, research, and healthcare missions. Oversees the following areas:
Endpoint (PC and Mac), including Mobile Device Management and Imprivata, and Citrix Engineering for the MUSC enterprise, responsible for the delivery and security of user endpoints, including, automation engineering and Tier 2 support associated with delivery and management of user endpoints.

Additional Job Description

Required Education/Skills/Work Experience:

A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in information technology management, computer science, risk management, business administration, or related field. At least seven (7) years of progressive work experience in endpoint (PC, Mac, Mobile devices) and/or Citrix administration, IT architecture, project management. At least two (2) years of management experience to include leading teams and projects. Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills, client relations and relationship building abilities, strategic planning skills, fact finding and problem-solving skills required.  Must be an expert communicator.

Experience in SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and/or Citrix is highly desirable.
