Systems Test Supervisor – PCIG Systems
About the role:
The Systems Test Supervisor is a Design Quality Supervisor that directly supports medical device product development from concept through commercialization. The position will direct a team in supporting system level testing for various IC systems. The employee will supervise a high-performance team to ensure safety, quality and compliance of launched products while continuously improving their commercial value through end-of-life. This supervisor position will direct a team performing testing to satisfy product requirements. The position will also provide support for our team by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supervise a group of technicians in design quality including assignment and operational oversight of small to medium projects within the product development and sustaining organizations.
- Perform administrative tasks for management and larger organization such as managing schedules, purchasing, organization, communications, and event planning.
- Actively promote and participate in a cross-functional teamwork environment.
- Independently make decisions and work without constant supervision. Ability to prioritize tasks and give direction without direct oversight.
- Coordinate the execution of Design Verification activities.
- Applying sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
- Support the verification, validation, and usability testing to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.
What we’re looking for:
Minimum qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design assurance, R&D, or related medical device or regulated industry experience.
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written) and presentation skills.
- Problem solver, capable of facilitating the problem-solving process & driving issues to closure.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills; drives for results.
- Travel approximately <10%
Preferred qualifications:
- Some post-secondary education preferred.
- ISO 13485, ISO 14971 and Quality System Regulations understanding with a focus on Design Controls and Risk Analysis
- Previous development and design of testing and/or automated equipment
- Previous experience with Measurements System Analysis
- Previous experience with Regulatory testing in Medical Device or Regulated Industry
