Litigation Paralegal

Our Global Legal team provides key support for all TikTok’s innovative initiatives, state-of-the-art products, and integrated platforms servicing our global video market. We help our technological and business teams enable their vision by providing integrated legal guidance and support. The TikTok team is growing fast and is seeking highly experienced, bright and capable legal professionals to join the Global Legal team. One of the critical challenges is the need for our team to provide exceptional legal support for litigation matters in the countries where the platform operates.



Responsibilities:

- Work closely with in-house litigation counsel and e-discovery team members on general litigation matters, pre-litigation disputes, and related matters.

- Manage the legal hold process across global litigation and regulatory matters.

- Serve as a liaison between the legal team, security, engineering, IT personnel, system admins, records management personnel and also outside counsel and vendors.

- Coordinate case management tasks, ensure compliance with litigation holds, protective orders, and e-discovery requirements.

- Support attorneys with management of discovery including assisting with custodian interviews, managing document collection, and working with outside counsel and e-discovery teams for processing and production.

- Oversee and track physical and digital correspondence related to legal matters through service of process and mail, ensure items are routed to appropriate teams and stakeholders.

- Research and organize factual information and technical data.

- Produce and maintain reporting metrics on litigation, pre-litigation, and regulatory matters.

- Track matter deadlines, update dockets, and maintain a litigation calendar.

- Work closely with the Legal Operations team to ensure smooth workflow and system updates.

- Assist in implementing and optimizing internal processes and creating standard operating procedures for litigation team.
