We are responsible for helping Hollywood Studios and content owners to get their content to global audiences by providing all language services including scripting, subtitling, access services and dubbing. Our products and services span the digital spectrum, from enhanced extras packages promoting digital purchase to physical disc authoring.
Our clients include major Hollywood studios and dozens of independent studios. To date, we’ve delivered thousands of titles to iTunes, Google, Netflix, Amazon, and others. We’ve created a large percentage of iTunes Extras titles available on the App Store, developed the specification of and delivered the first Cross-Platform Extras titles, authored more than eight-thousand DVDs, two-thousand Blu-rays, as well as award-winning tablet and mobile apps.

Job Description:
The Pixelogic Internship is a paid position. In this role, you will be trained in billing processes and some payroll practices as they apply in the entertainment post-production business. This is a skill-enriching position where our intern collaborates, develops new skills and deliver expectations.
You will go through training, learning and knowledge application for twelve weeks. Each week you will be required to meet or exceed set objectives and will evaluate these goals in a regular 1-1 meeting. You will be assigned a direct manager and a mentor resource to help you learn and develop. Your work will be hands on and the skills acquired in this role are transferable to any entry level billing, payroll or accounting role.
Training includes introduction to billing and specific payroll procedures as well as systems applications. Across the twelve weeks you will follow a curriculum that incorporates planned learning experiences through a combination of remote-management training, in-person coaching, and application.
Responsibilities:
Billing
Prepare and generate invoices for various accounts.
Email a high volume of account invoices and corresponding documents to customers, daily.
Update order management system with account invoice details.
Reconcile account invoices to the multiple Order Management systems.
Maintain invoice and account document files as requested by account.
Maintain customer spreadsheets.
Communicate to internal departments changes needed to an account order for billing requirements.
Compile, prepare, and process documentation for complex credits to customers and rebilled invoices.
Document billing best practices and tips
Conduct billing audits to ensure accuracy of billing.
Perform Ad hoc tasks as requested.
Assists in other areas as needed.
Payroll
Auditing timesheets and reaching out to supervisors and time approvers for corrections and edits.
Auditing time off requests and reaching out to time approvers for approvals.
Creating and/or editing and updating Time Off Policies and Balances.
Creating pay batches in ADP to process freelancer payments (invoices), parking stipends (non-confidential items).
Updating business segments, dept changes, titles and custom area codes in ADP.
Reconcile monthly benefits billing (employer cost) – Kaiser, Aetna, MetLife
Assists in other areas as required by the Director of Payroll.
Requirements
Degree from an accredited College or University and must be able to provide a copy of school transcripts upon request.
Must be able to commit to 12 weeks of work at full-time work schedule. Must be available to work overtime, including weekend, if necessary.
Must be able to work onsite in Burbank, CA- this is not a remote position.
Technically literate and comfortable with a variety of computer applications.
Highly proficient in Microsoft office, specifically Microsoft Excel (pivots, V-lookup, formulas, formats).
Familiarity with Mac and/or Windows operating systems. Experience in various software and websites, including ADP and medical billing sites is highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving, and math skills.
Passionate about quality, customer experience and customer service excellence.
